Just got back from my walk and I'm chilling out a bit before we go do some shopping. It's not for a new bass, though, I have to go look online for that, which I'm going to do later. It's officially the start of summer for us, since we finally put in the AC in the bedroom. We tried to hold off as long as we could, but the humidity has been too high to be comfortable without it. Still, it hasn't been too bad. It could be worse, I could still be in Florida. :P

Have a super vacation in that great land, Mike, and thanks for that informative video.

I've never been there, but would like to. I known for sometime that the Smokies were the most visited vacation area in the U.S.A., and I have a connection with Sacandaga where my grandfather reputedly lived for a period and had some relationship with boating. Incidentally, the record Northern Pike 46 lbs. 2 oz (20.9 kg) was caught there.

All in all the whole Adirondacks is a wonder to behold. Maybe, you'll see or hear an Andirondack Spruce guitar (as long as it's not Deliverence).
Have a great one and enjoy your holiday.

Gawd, I'm gettin'' on. Just finished yard work, and now I'm soakin' my feet and sipping lemonade straight up.
That's kRaZY!? Tomorrow I'll think about dying my hair purple neon (which would improve my white hair), adding some new creepy Goth shoes, screaming bloody murder with piercing, breath taking jumping, and later chilling out with some planking ... all while shredding and paying homage to the invention of Moscow Mules.

I think I'll start with the Moscow Mules in case the rest doesn't pan out. YMMV

Getting stoked for a casino concert in October. I managed to get limited tickets for a double billing of Chilliwack and David Wilcox.

Note: There are two well known David Wilcox artists. America's David Wilcox is a great folk singer/songwriter. This is Canada's (having played with the likes of Ian and Sylvia, Carl Perkins, Charlie Rich, James Burton, and others).

FSB, when your alarm clock went off was your hair still white? I recommend taking your blood pressure med, an aspirin and complete bed rest for 24 hours.

Thanks, for looking after this old coot. Yeah, it was white with silver streaks (sorta like Charlie Rich). Only I found another vacating hair on the pillow when I woke up. I had time to sleep on the thought of going Goth; but, now I'm thinking Rockabilly. The only thing holding me back is that I have to dye my hair black like Elvis. Mrs. FSB isn't buying it. I guess the Beatles look is out too unless I get a rug from Nashville.

Glad you liked the videos, Marky. Thought I'd add some perspective on what to expect.

As for the concert I'm looking forward to taking my better half out to see some fine and variable guitar work throughout, and maybe Jerry Adolphe from my high school will be on the drums.

The band's getting older, I'm getting older, but today I'm going to a best buddy's for a large 70th birthday celebration (after his recent heart attack) so I'll be the young one by 5 months, and let it be known that old farts can rock till the sun comes up the next day. Ask Keef. We were weaned on it. YMMV

Cheers!

I bet you're still sleeping after the big party, FSB. An extra special 70th after his heart attack. Something to be truly grateful for that he is still here. I'm only a few years behind you and my son tells me I'm not old, I'm "seasoned". He also tells me I'm the best guitar player in the county. I knew there were reasons why I keep him around. I hope you and your Mrs. had a grand time. :)
