Reclining on the patio chaise lounge, reading the Forum, taking in the sunshine and shade under my 40 foot pine tree, having champagne and OJ in a fluted glass waiting for a fresh brew of Java to arrive, feeling the light summer breeze, and groovin' to a playlist of smooth funky jazz saxophone. Ah, life is good, 8)

Man how cool is that? It doesn't get any better, FSB. I am picturing that and enjoying it vicariously. :) As for me, we're getting ready for a ride in the desert in my pickup.

Yeah, a great day to be sure. I do miss the ocean though :( and I think a ride in the desert would be cool too. Enjoy the day, Marky. :D

Just got back from my walk and finishing up laundry. Now I'm having a cup of coffee and going to get some dinner. Yeah, I'm on a weird schedule again. That happens a lot during the summer.

I can relate to that, mine is a result of trying to watch all the F1 related practice/qualifying/race stuff every other weekend. But I never make excuses for coffee anytime, 6-9 cups a day is about my average.
I'm just finishing up for the night at least w/ picture replacement editing or as close as I can get to the original posts. Thank You PB---->NOT. Still have to get to a couple more threads I started.

Getting up to do some upgrades and maintenance with software on the PC. Summer chores don't allow me much time at the keyboard so every so often it's cleanup time and whatnot.

I miss the days when I could pass that stuff on to a techie.

I'm waiting for the garage door installer. We don't have any street lights, there was no moon light, and my house lights were off so it was pitch black out and I backed into my garage door. It couldn't have happened because I am getting old, right? Please be kind. I'm fragile right now. My wheelchair lift on the back of my pickup crunched two panels of my garage door like they were paper and there's not even a scratch on the w/c lift. They don't make doors like they used to but the cheapo replacement is costing me $1,300.

Eating some of the best dark sweet cherries I've had in a long time. And listening to the Byrds.

Sorry to hear about your garage door, Marky. That sucks. Would an inexpensive solar powered light help?

If there's a bright side, you didn't run over any garage band members.

Yes, I believe it would have prevented my mishap. I haven't felt a need for one until...

I'm getting ready to try and move some gear and get some new stuff. I decided I'm going to try and sell the Schecter Diamond J Bass and the Schecter Ultra VI. Even though they do sound quite good, I'm not really using them, so there isn't a point in keeping something you're not using. I also am not finding the neck on the Diamond J to my liking, in comparison to the Squier Jazz. The Schecter has a wider neck, which I've noticed more since I've been playing my short scale violin bass. At least with the Squier, the neck is about as narrow and just faster to play on. I'll most likely get another Squier Jazz, since I'm not going to be able to afford a Fender, and we also need to get a PA system. I'll see what options I have to work with. Time to do some shopping. :P

Sounds like fun, Paul. I hope you get what you want/need and have a good time. :)
