 Thanks! That was good my friend. I should have bought a uke instead of an acoustic, Marky,so I can, like Mrs. FSB suggested, tiptoe through the weeds as well. Sheesh. :P

I'm about to load the guns, and close the cave door. For in the morning, It's back to Pygmy Country. 8)

That was real good, Glenn. If only I was old enough to know what that meant.
Guess I missed the fork in the road. :P

Just got back from doing some grocery shopping. I'm on a weird schedule, which we'll probably keep on for most of the summer, it's hard to say. Also finished up doing some laundry.

Last night on our walk, we encountered a group of homeless musicians, with the oldest one being 21 and the rest teenagers, and they had two dogs with them. They had some battered guitars and a banjo, and from what I gathered, just travelling around playing songs and trying to survive. For some reason, talking to them really left an impression with me. Maybe it was their age and situation. That's a hard life to live, especially being that age. At least they are together. I hope they'll be OK. In a way, they also reminded me of what they did in the 60's, going to Woodstock or San Francisco.

I got back a while ago from paying some bills, buying dog food, and getting a new OtterBox for a cell phone.

Time to start up, and run my generator for a few minutes.

I haven't been able to play in a while but I'm working up the energy to go upstairs and play. :D

Hope this finds you fine, Marky and that your playtime worked out.

Meanwhile, I've been studying more audio production methods to add and keep some ideas fresh. I'm stubborn and am willing to improve what I already know. I could lay down numerous tracks now, practice guitar, vocals, or write songs; but, I want to first decide on a theme or themes, make them unique and mine but relevant, blend the old with the new, do some layering and mixing old school with new school, decide how I'll use a variety of instruments, and which recording equipment will fit the moment. Most of all, I want it original which is the most difficult. I know what's bad, and until I get it (if I do), I listen, watch, and read and write. Therefore, I am. 8)
One good trumps a whole lot of bad. Then again none is a big ZeRO! I've decided to record demos with each noodling that comes along. Some good has come and gone, and a lot of good is right here in the Forum. Now if I can get my fingers to run instead of walk on the fingerboard the road to success will appear. At least it's not a crawl.

I never made it upstairs yesterday and couldn't do it today either. I'm having a relapse of this darn nerve disease. Maybe tomorrow will be better. :) What you're working on sounds very interesting and way beyond my abilities. I bought Guitar Pro 6 and Transcribe! thinking that I might try a little composition since I can't play as much as I would like to but they are pretty complicated for me. I see now that I will have to invest a lot of time learning these programs.
I wish you the best in your endevors. I'm sure the results will be spectacular! :D

Get better soon, Marky. Turn those lemons into lemonade. As far as production goes, simple can be good with style and innovation - so you're good to go.
I don't think my project will be spectacular (but thanks for that). If anything, it will, hopefully, be different or rare, and that will be a welcome thang.

Going to go for a walk when it approaches dawn and make some dinner. I'm on a really weird schedule right now.
