My wife was getting mad at me because she says I work too much. Yeah, like I'm convinced. Rubbing my nose like Bewitched doesn't work.
So, I gave up on sidewalk work, and decided to learn some 60s songbook songs and new chords on the guitar.

That works about as well.

Had a foot x-rayed today. I saw the negative (only I guess in this case the negative would be considered a positive). The photo looked like an out of focus selfie, so, without the Doc seeing the x-ray, for now our best guess is that tendons and ligaments are culprits for my limping like Long John Silver. Aargh! Shiver me timbers and splice the main brace (pass out the rum).

I was a CT Tech for many moons and an X-ray Tech before that. In a typical 3 view foot X-ray, tendons and ligaments are not clearly visualized but a misalignment of your bones can be suggestive of a problem in those areas. Along with clinical correlation, of course. Here in the States, an MRI may be ordered to better visualize the soft tissues. It all depends on how the radiologist interprets your exam. Just thought I would pass that along.

Thanks, Marky. Having seen the less than perfect image, it's clear that there are better ways to look at it. I appreciate your input.

About 55 years ago I fell down a flight of stairs landing on my foot. Needless to say it got beat up pretty good, and, to make matters worse, I lived far from good medical care. Talk of surgery came about; but, as my present Doc confirmed they didn't have the greatest tools to do it in those days. As it is I have lived with some misalignment beneath the ankle and it has been little problem until now. I may be referred to a specialist if deemed necessary. For now it feels like a rug burn. Nothing that Jello shooters can't help though, and I can still play an E chord.

I jammed a bit on my violin bass and went for a walk. The weather was much cooler tonight than yesterday, that's for certain.

Don't let your foot get too out of whack, if you know what I mean. I have heel spurs on the Achilles Tendons of both feet. They're ok until they flare up. Take care of your feet man.
Now that I preached to you, it's Jello Time.
