Several years after staring at the $&@# outdoor carpet hanging from the ceiling in the shed, I finally got the outside staircase completed. Whoo Hoo! I only made one mistake, on a cut, but no one died, and it worked out. I had installed a carpet on the same steps twice before, so one error out of three installs ain't bad. Life is good. :D

Another long day with going for a walk then going shopping again with the grocery store and went to Walmart. Also did some laundry and did some prep work for crudites for a snack and also made dinner. By the way, I don't know if it's because the T-Shirts I bought at Walmart ran big or not, but I'm now able to wear an XL shirt. I haven't done that since I was in high school, which was 30 years ago or so. I have noticed that my XXL shirts that I've been wearing for a couple of months have been fitting looser than they did when I first got them, so I guess this diet crap is actually working. :P

Otherwise known as nervous pudding. :P I remember my mom or someone in my family refer to it as that when I was a kid. I suppose that it is an apt description of it with the way it can move.

I'm getting ready to go for my walk, then I'm going to make some Greek seasoned lamb chops for dinner. We got some dolmas and other things to go along with them. Then I'll probably just chill out for awhile, maybe put some bass time in, too.

That's probably because it was from Paul's post. Oops! That being said, you and I know the Jello King has heard of Nervous Pudding. At least now he has. :P

Paul, thanks for the Jello Shooters recipes. Fantastic. So much appreciated by both Mrs. FSB and me. We will definitely put them to good use. Mrs. FSB is already making plans for an annual club membership gathering of the women in our life that get together each year for fun and frivolity at our place so they can yak and what not. The shooters are on the menu now. I've decided I need to be the guinea pig until they're right, and even after that. I'll be lucky to get one when they get together.
Meanwhile, it's my day off from retirement and I'm having OJ and sparking wine.

Thanks again, from the both of us. You the man. :D
Cheers!

I noticed you like Greek. Paul. Me too. Yesterday, we made what we called Greek Dogs. Here's what we put together:

1) Lamb wieners. Toss them in minimal Virgin Olive Oil. and coat the wieners with some of your favourite Greek seasoning. Safeway has some. but others work too. We used a baggie to toss and coat. Overnight marinating is best, but this all works okay without.

2) In a bowl toss dry coleslaw (we used packaged for simplicity), a little sliced red onion, and just enough tzatsiki sauce or similar Greek yogurt, cucumber, and garlic mix to wet the slaw mixture. Just make sure to not have it soggy. Then add a little crumbled Feta to the slaw at the last moment, and toss. Not too much Feta though. You'll use more later.

3) We pre-toast the hot dog buns by placing them opened on the toaster; however, they'll have to be watched to prevent burning them. We do the same on the BBQ.

4) Fry or BBQ the weenies (crispy but not burnt works), and add them to the hot dog buns lined with the coleslaw mixture.

5) Top the whole shebang off with even more Feta cheese.

6) Throw some plates and glasses around, yell Opa! and enjoy the Greek dogs.

I'm listening to the new 50th anniversary reissue of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," and I have to say I like it quite a lot. You can hear the difference with the new stereo mixes and the bass really pops out. 8)

We're waiting until 6:00 PM to go out for a walk, then get some Chinese takeaway and watch a new episode of "Dr. Who." I might throw in some bass time, too.
