Take the false alarm, as an education of the worse case scenario. Hopefully there won't be a real happening. I'm glad it turned out to be nothing for both of you.

Thank God it was a false alarm. I'm glad your Mrs is doing ok.
Thank you, Marky. Much appreciated. Mrs. FSB is not one to complain or let on that she has a problem. This was an unwanted but good exercise to let her know it's okay to get some attention to reduce the risk. She's a good woman and always does for everyone else. We're all happy, but no one more than me, although she came home with a gigantic smile. :D

Tonight I discovered that my acoustic preamp does not connect without a DI box directly to the mixer as the previous version did. I can manage that. :P

Thanks, Glenn. It makes one appreciate health care workers, family, and friends. Also, knowing the fact that stress takes its toll and the better half doesn't know how to relax (I'm her hobby), :roll:worries about everything and everyone past and present, and she's my constant project in that area; although, she is improving, and hopefully this experience is a lesson learned. I keep threatening to get a dog to keep her busy. :D

I went grocery, clothes, and whatever else shopping, laundry of said clothes, and then some housework. Now I'm going to check my email and going for a walk, then steam some chicken to make chicken salad (bought some rye bread,) and figure out what I'm going to do for dinner.

Sorry to hear that, Glenn. I've just about run out of options to get mine onboard. I firmly believe it's a mindset, and that's a difficult hurdle. I hope your wife and mine can jump that hurdle someday.

I used to have a problem with stress when I was younger. One day the light went on, and I learned to push myself away, regroup, and then try again with a different approach. I could therapeutically work myself into a frenzied sweat with drum practice, but today it can be picking a relaxing guitar or just watching the clouds go by; although, I do miss the ocean.

I've learned to appreciate each day and lesser things in life. I've known people from all walks of life, and I have seen pleasure from rich and poor. I've also seen the opposite. I often consider another's situation and wonder at their stress. To say I don't get stressed would be false. However, I'm a world away from those early days and that is a learned blessing.

A sense of humour can be a great advantage.

Jello would work too.
Or ice cream.
:D

Just finished grilled cheese sammie's with onions and Canadian back bacon ready to dip into a side order of BBQ sauce alongside some Canada Dry Blackberry Gingerale. :P
Life is good.

Sometimes It's not an easy thing to scale it back. I've been working on that for a bit though. Image

I have a front yard custom vinyl fence/gate with a horizontal beam over the gate to brace the left side and ride side fence adjacent to the gate.

A one day surprise 50 below weather snap shifted the fence vertically and horizontally with the ground movement. It was partially out of commission for months because of the seasonal weather. The $&@#% beam separated and would not reinsert to the brackets until today! This saved me the time and money to call in the experts. I managed to repair it all better than new, and I managed to add some specialized vinyl screws to correct the problem (hopefully, preventing a reoccurrence). Whoo Hoo! :D
Now I'm going to relax with a power nap. :P

I'm getting ready to do light lunch. Some left overs in the fridge.

Going to go for my walk in the evening and cook some New York Strip steaks that were on sale for dinner. I'll try to put some bass time in as well.

On the way back from picking up my daughter, and her friend from a choir tour, we called in a take-out order for some good Mexican food.
