Month 9 of my diet. I lost another 8 pounds for a total of 80 pounds. I didn't lose any measurements other than 1/2" off my chest for 6 1/2" total and 3/10" off my neck for 2" total. Plus, another 1/10" off my wrist for 2/3" total.

Thanks. I'm pretty close to where I want to be. At least enough to where I can fit into a size 34 jeans. I'm in a size 38 now. Maybe another 30 pounds, I'm not sure. I guess I'll see when I get there. I'll just keep on going until I do.

Awesome weight loss, Paul. Just a word of caution. I can't speak for myself today as Mrs. FSB brought me a fresh orange gelato from the Italian Deli because I successfully repaired her electrical accident without blowing up the breaker panel and burning down the house.

But, when I was a mere 135 pounds and had a 28 waist I had a terrible time finding clothes to fit. Somehow, I gained weight after a marriage, better pickings came my way for a short period of time, and now those skinny clothes show up everywhere, and I still have trouble finding something to wear. Any way you look at it, an old guy in skinny jeans still looks like an old guy in skinny jeans. Leather jeans are out of the question. YMMV :P
I wonder how that happened? FSB

I couldn't be 135, since I'm 6' 3" or other wise I'd be in the hospital. :P I'm around 230 now, so I guess another 30 or 40 pounds to go. I do have to factor in muscle, which weighs more than fat, since I am quite physically active and that does build up. I might not have to lose that much, I don't know. It just depends on when I get to where I need to get to. It's funny about the jeans thing. I often go into Walmart to try on Wrangler jeans, since they usually wear well for me, and are a good price, but it seems that every time I look they never have the right size in a 32 inseam, which I need, yet they'll have a ton of them in the bigger sizes I use to wear. I imagine there's some guy that's the same size as me and losing the same amount of weight at the same time, and buying all of the 32 inseam jeans as they go along, so I can't find any. :P

I'm going to do some grocery shopping and hopefully the rain will stop enough to go for a walk.

That's the same guy who bought up all the size 28s when I was looking for them. He just grew taller. :P

Earlier in the day, I went up, and helped my daughter pack up, and move out of her dorm for the last time. Graduation for her is this Saturday. Today was also her birthday.

Checking the new acoustic and how it works with the Mustang IV. I didn't expect much as the amp is not optimized for acoustic. I'm surprised at how good the result is as long as I don't use a preset that is too funky.

Feedback from the Taylor is not out of the question at times depending on the preset, but it is controllable. That's where the noiseless N3s on the Strat shine. :D
Next time I'll try the same with just the SM57 Beta mike, mixer, and the Lexicon. After which I'll put it through a TCH VoicePlay GTX into the mixer. Lastly, I'll check it with the interface and DAW. Phew! It would be nice to just snap fingers or have another capable helper.

Hi FSB - Arth1 posted this awhile back and I've been meaning to try it but haven't gotten around to it yet. Here is the post:
"... A more neutral clean sound than through the standard presets is possible with the Mustang. Set your volume, turn it off, then hold the TAP button while turning it on. That puts it in bypass mode with no emulation running, which is suitable for acoustics."
Hope it sounds great!
