Hey Glenn - I love dogs. I have two German Shephards from the same litter that are 2 years old and a Sheltie that is 11 years old. Our male Shephard is a 90lb goof ball and the 70lb female is a sweetheart. I don't know what I would do without them. They are such good friends. :D

Hey FSB - Wow a $10,000.00 barbecue. That truly is for the man who has everything! Have a great day doin' nuttin'!

Yeah,...... We had a couple of Dobies, one, then the other years ago that were real clowns, but great family members. after those went their way with God, Along came a Shepard / Akita mix, and a Korean Sapsarees. Those two had good lives together. Now we have two little guys that I have to admit, are probably the best we ever had. A Mini Wired Hair Dachshund, and a Chihuahua / Poodle mix. We did literally saved the Dachshund from being put down a day before that was going to happen.

Just had some chicken curry from the Chinese takeaway. We're going to start planning on what we want to do as far as gigging is concerned. If anything, we want to do something for Halloween, especially. I'm sure there will be other things, as well. I've never really done anything for Halloween, so that will be fun. By the way, I went shopping yesterday and tried on some pants to see where I am with my weight loss. Guess what? I got into a size 38 pants, so I got a pair. I haven't done that since I was 19 years old. Pretty soon, I'll be down to my high school weight and eventually lower than that and at my goal. I couldn't believe I actually got into 38's. I guess this crap is actually working.

Thanks, Marky. Well, that did include some extra bells and whistles on an extremely wide grill. Like 3 large stainless pullout drawers underneath some cabinetry and more stainless stuff; but, the BBQ was a definite showstopper with a high price tag. Maybe they'll throw in some free weenies with the deal.
Love the other dogs too. I lost mine in a miserable way (as others did) when I was 14 because the municipality sprayed DDT in the neighbourhood. Ironically, most of today's safe yard chemicals (or so they say) are made and sometimes promoted in a similar way by the same company responsible for my loss. Warnings are often discreet, and unavailable to those who are not in the loop. Suffice to say, don't let your pets loose on any unknown territory when you can prevent it. Concerns while raising livestock is usually similar. If I save one pet that'll be one more source of enjoyment. :D
Meanwhile, hug a pet.

I'm getting ready to look over the food orders that need to be done for our daughter's Senior Recital reception. She's graduating with her degree in Vocal Performance. Image

You're a good man proud Dad. Congrats to your daughter, Glenn. The world needs more music. It's great that she will make a contribution.

Megan has an operatic voice that pisses off the angels, because she sings better than any of them. She's getting a full ride two year, in a graduate program at the University of Florida. Yes myself, and my wife are Very Proud of her. Good Mezzo Sopranos aren't that plentiful.

Getting ready to go for my walk. We've been doing around 5 miles, lately. I might actually do some cooking today instead of getting a takeaway, I'm not sure yet. It depends if I feel like it later. :P

Thanks for the kind words folks. Megan decided to sing opera on her own. She came home from middle school one day, and told us she wanted to sing opera. We of course backed her decision, helped her along, but Megan did her part to learn French, German, Italian, and Spanish, to get on the way to the opera. A lot more schooling for opera than my wife, and I knew about.
