Getting ready to take my disabled son to his doctor. Then we have four errands to run. I thought this retirement business was supposed to be easy and relaxing. You know like sipping a Mai Tai on a beach somewhere. :D

A day older, and getting ready to go to lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Good thing it's a Tuesday too.

Yeah, laid back retirement is fake news, Marky. That's why many say they have to get a job to include travel time, coffee breaks, meal breaks, down time, socializing, money to hire others for repair jobs, and most of all -longer days and nights with days off and holidays. Then as you age you try to cram in all that stuff on your bucket list that you never had time for. Only now you find there isn't enough time to catch up. Ahh, but it's nice to sleep in as long as you don't have to milk the cows. :P

Cheers!

I'm getting up. I've got chores to do.

I like that FSB... fake news. that's so true. It really seems like I had more free time when I worked full time. We've been waiting for the doctor for 1 1/2 hours. Have fun with the chores. :)

I had a long walk today (4 miles) and did some shopping, and also put some time in on the violin bass. Finished up the laundry, as well.

Reading the Forum, with Howie Mandell All-Star Comedy Gala and special guests playing at the same time. I look to my night table, and there's a candy left from last evening so now I'm eating the out of province gifted chocolate. :D

Started out the day going for a walk, then went clothes shopping and found a couple of pairs of jeans and other things. I went into Old Navy and they had some good stuff in there and a pretty good sale going on, so I think I made out pretty good. I also went and got Chinese takeaway again. I think I'm addicted to it, that's all I've wanted to have lately. Maybe it's because I just haven't felt like cooking, either. :P

I started the day out feeding the dogs, and ended up in the local ER, with a bout of pneumonia. Ya' never know.

I hope you're doing okay, Glenn. Pneumonia has visited me several times, and I'm told that once you have it you become a more willing candidate. I went camping with an oxygen tent as a kid; but. thankfully, today's medications are there to help. Take care, and take it easy - giving your lungs a much needed rest.

Mrs. FSB took me shopping against my will, again.

Upon visiting that big box Swedish store, I volunteered to buy accessories for her living room (every clean room seems to be hers, and every messy one mine). Then it was off to Costco where we saw a demo of a pizza not yet ready to sample. Since I couldn't make it to Chicago today, we bought 3 in a box. Then we stopped at an Italian grocer. She grabbed some wine, and I found some ground venison that I will try as a burger later.

So here I am looking at the accessory, listening to rockin' Country tunes, eating an awesome gourmet extra thin crust spicy Chicken Fajita pizza, and drinking red wine. Life is good. :D
Cheers, y'all

You know, I actually like going shopping, especially since the fact I've lost a lot of weight. It just sucks when you don't have any money to buy anything. :P
