Went out for a walk. That was an adventure with the slush and ice around. :P

Went for a walk, which was nice, since I've been hampered by the crap weather. I also put some time in on the violin bass, which is always a good thing, I think.

Thinking about the great day and romantic musical evening being spoiled by Mrs. FSB with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. Gosh, I'm turning out to be a romantic softie.

Just got through practicing after some time off. It wasn't pretty. Back to practicing daily for me. :)

I've had a bad right hand and haven't played for over a week, but as of yesterday its getting better so I started to repair an old amp today. Just taking a longish lunch/smoke break to check out what's happening on the forum.
Also enjoying the somewhat cooler air blowing in the windows today, 80+ is way to hot for February even in South Texas.

80+? Hmm. Sfceric64, there's a surplus of sun tan lotion at this time of year in Canada. With your strong dollar you might want to check for deals on the Net.
Hope the hand is better.

Just checked outside for new snow. Nope. Yay!

Went for a walk, got some Chinese takeaway, and jammed out on my hollow-body bass. Not necessarily in that order. :P

I'm having fun going through some old coins collected over the years, and I ran across a couple from the 1700s and 1800s. My luck they're common.
What to sell them for is a conundrum, especially since appraisal includes face value, metal content, condition, and rarity. Buyer beware has become seller beware.

I ain't rich - this won't change things. :P

You know, I have probably a dollar's worth of Canadian coins that I got stuck with in various times getting back change. Pretty useless here, but what can I get for that up there? Anything? :P

I went for a walk this morning and I jammed on my violin bass for awhile. Got some Chinese takeaway (they were probably surprised to see me in the daytime :P ) and now I'm just listening to a Bob Dylan live bootleg from 1966, when he was touring with what became The Band, and everyone was having a hissy fit because he went electric (which I thought was pretty cool, by the way.)

Funny you should ask, Paul as I am presently trying to decifer coin dates in foreign languages.
Actually, the Canadian dollar is undervalued, and presently runs for about 75 cents on the American dollar for the moment. Justin and his gang hate dollars on par and elections flip it back and forth for trade argument. Makes sense to me . . . Sell low / Buy high.
Our banks are some of the strongest in the world, and you don't see them in trouble like one might in the States. It is true that American money is accepted world wide (I have some); but, in reality, if the bill collector ever decides to collect the trillions owing, it may be prudent to have a few Canuck dollars in the cookie jar.
Think of it this way, we have less to invest; but, then again we would lose less on the stock market which is even more likely. :P
Failing that your coins work in the soft drink machine. That's a good deal because with our coins you can buy munchies and suckies at a fraction of the cost.

Now ya know. :D
