Putting together a wooden work bench I bought from Harbor Freight Tools. I'm going to use it for setups, intonation and restringing.

I'm waking from a nap after racking my brain looking for that evasive something on the Net. Now that I and my clock are out of sync it'll probably be a TV marathon 'til early morning.

Happy birthday to your girlfriend from here in the Forum, Paul. Have a great day . . .
And enjoy that new bench, Marky.

That's usually the case, it seems. Either that, or you can only move things in certain spots because of outlet access, windows, or doors.

Hopefully, it won't bring you the "joy" like assembling something like Ikea furniture does for me. :P

Going back to assembling my new work bench. Paul, it's even worse than IKEA. Way too many pieces and I even have to drill pilot holes for a few of the screws.

I just finished cleaning up the kitchen after making shell pasta with beef and zucchini. I'm going go for a walk in a little while, maybe even actually watch the 2nd half of the Super Bowl, even though I'm not typically an American football fan. The "local team" is playing after all. I suspect the streets will be quiet, sans the bars off of Thames Street. :P

During halftime, I loaded turbotax on the computer. Was there a halftime show?

Yeah, but I was out walking when it was on. We did catch bit and pieces of the game through the windows of the bars around town, since pretty much they all had it on their TV sets, before we came back home. I do believe Lady Gaga performed, but I don't know if any else did, or whatever else was going on. That was over by the time we got back.

I'm thinking about doing some salmon for tomorrow's dinner. Maybe have Orzo, and a salad with it. Not too bad at all.

Out of curiosity, I went ahead and tried on a pair of size 40 jeans tonight (last month I was able to fit into a size 42) and they actually fit! I haven't worn a size 40 since I was 20 or 21 years old. I'm now almost to the weight I was in high school (I don't remember my pants size, but I remember wearing an XL shirt,) but I'm going to go further than that. When I started this 6 months ago, I was wearing a size 48. My original goal is a size 36, which seemed to be pretty good for my height of 6'3". I'm wondering now if I should try to get into a 34 before I go into maintenance? I guess I'll have to wait and see when I get there. This is all new territory for me.

Took out some fish for tomorrow just for the halibut (sic) Hey, Paul I wear 36, but sometimes 34s because overseas pant production can be iffy. A little stretch in the 34s and/or 36s will help that too. When I was thin at a 28 waist I often wore trendy continentals with button tabs to reduce or add room for those pants that were often difficult to locate. But, nothin' beats the square front buttoned flap I had on my Navy bell bottoms in the early 60s.

At work, on on my lunch break sitting in my ford capri that I keep noticing more rust on as I look round it. Listening to Blues Pills. Love that band.
