Very cool. What year is it? Never had one, but my first car was a '63 Comet on wheels. That would have been a trick amp to haul in the back seat. :wink:FSB
Its a 1951. Don't see many of those around anymore either.
Yeah. That's good to see it restored. Good on ya! I'm a few years older, but I'm afraid a restoration is outa the question. I'm an original.

Having the morning coffee and a homemade raisin bran muffin. Then I'm going to look at my options for the day because they may change as fluffy white flakes fall before my eyes. :?

Regardless, there's music in the works somewhere. 8)

Went for a short walk today, went grocery shopping, and got some Chinese takeaway. The reason for the short walk was is was too friggin' cold out for a long one.

Just unpacked a new coffee table, and now Mrs. FSB is about to take me shopping again for side tables and accessories. Uh Oh! That's okay because I'll get my chance to swing by the music store later in the year. Besides, they miss me. :P

It's snowing out right now, so nothing outdoors. I'm just checking email and social media and checking out some new music.

Working on a huge pile of paperwork. Then a short nap and grocery shopping. I want to find some healthy stuff to through into my new smoothie maker. :)

I'm reading up on the Forum while listening to music as Paul is doing, and this time I'm grooving with a Surf Internet radio station. 8) I'm also thinking of picking up a smoothie at Marky's (being that he has a new machine and all). :P Then I might as well go to Glenn's for midnight snacks (if the dogs will share). :D It wouldn't be first doggie snack I've had. When I was a kid I went camping in the wilds with a group of guys and a dog. We were far from civilization and, being hungry boys that we were, the food ran out; but, we had a huge bag of dog biscuits. So, we read the human edible ingredients and the rest is history. Ya just never know, I may just show up on the doorstep for a smoothie and a doggie snack.

Month 6th of my diet. I lost another 8 pounds for a total of 64 pounds. Measurements lost are 1" waist, 7" total; 1/2" chest, 4 1/2" total; 1" gut, 10" total; 1/2" arm, 3 1/4" total; 1" thigh, 4 1/2" total; 1/2" calf, 2 1/4" total; 8/10" neck, 2 2/5" total. The knee and wrist are the same as last month. It's going.

I would have posted this yesterday, but I was out all day and didn't have time to log in here at all.

I'm feeling guilty snacking on some chocolate covered caramel popcorn.
That's a fantastic accomplishment, Paul. Two thumbs up brother. I guess you'll have to move into a clothing store huh? Keep up the great work. Pretty soon you'll have to introduce yourself to family and friends. They won't recognize ya. :D

I wouldn't feel guilty about the popcorn. I've had things like that, but if I do, I make sure I can burn most of the calories off that day and keep it within my limits. That and try to keep the amount down a certain amount, with usually the serving size or maybe double, depending on how much it is, and how much it costs. It's kind of like having a budget. Say you only have $40 a day to spend on food, you'll eventually figure out how much you can get out of that to get the most bang for your buck.

Thanks. It's funny you mentioned a clothing store, since I hung out in a specialty store that my girlfriend's friend owns and runs. She was trying out some stuff and bought a shirt for herself. There was these pretty cool pair of trousers that are now my weigh loss goal. They were a size 36 waist and I'm currently in a 42, the last time I tried on any pants (I'm still wearing some that are too big on me with a belt, since I haven't done any shopping for new ones yet,) so I'm determined to be able to fit in those things. Actually, that's my goal size to begin with. I am 6'3", so I think that's a good weight. I think if I went into 34's, I'd be too skinny, which would be a totally alien concept to me.

If it's any consolation, Paul, before I got married, I was a scrawny 135 lbs. with a 28 waist with few pants to be found in those days. There used to be ads on magazines and comic books about getting sand kicked in your face unless you pumped it up for the beach. I never got sand kicked on my face, but I could relate.
Later, I took physical tests to join the Mounties and passed except that my chest measurements had to be a total of 72 inches from normal to expansion breathing in. 70 inches - Fail! I then asked if that was going to be a problem for my acceptance, and then they said it was preferential to be scrawny as opposed to having me lose weight. They said they would take care of that.

A month of weight lifting exercises and swimming daily gave me the 72 inches. For other reasons I was fully accepted and did not sign up mainly because the marine division option was not readily available. So, instead I got married, and in a few months I left the 128 lbs. behind and gained 35 lbs. The rest is history, although, work played a part in both being buff and not so much.

So enjoy your journey. You've earned it, Paul.

I helped my girlfriend move some the studio downstairs to the office so she can be more productive with music between time she works online. I can lay down some bass tracks here as well, which I do need to do. We have a new EP coming out and there's plenty of work to be done with it. I'll probably use my new hollow-body bass for the tracks, although I'd like to get some flats for it, beforehand. I was jamming out on it before I went out for my walk and we went to the store to get her a birthday cake for tomorrow (technically, today since it's almost 2:30 AM.)

I was contemplating moving things around in music room in the house. But the more I tried things in different spots, the more I liked it where everything was originally.
