I've got a nice stationary recumbent bike but the trouble is when I settle in and recline back I fall asleep.

That wouldn't be too bad to use. I have an elliptical machine and that thing will kick your arse. I usually prefer to go walking around town. It may take longer to burn calories, but it's less taxing. Plus, I can look around, window shop, etc. I don't have to stare at a TV to pass the time with it. I have to use it when the weather is too bad to walk in.

I did a big walk around town this morning, then went to the market for dinner, which was usually most peoples breakfasts. I just got done jamming out on my hollow-body bass for about an hour. I'm getting more and more use to playing it with the smaller scale and was playing it with a thumb pick for a bit, as well. Not my usual technique, but I did notice it's a lot easier doing that with that bass than a full scale, since I never really adapted to using a pick starting out, unfortunately. The cool thing about this bass is that it's so loud acoustically, I don't have to even plug it in to hear it. I can't wait to get the flats for it, though.

Earlier today I got up and did a little cleanup and brought breakie to my better half in bed since she worked hard to be the hostess for our family and friends gathering here at home to make up for the missed opportunity when we were away over the holidays.

The rest of the day was as The Eagles sang, "Take It Easy". So we had leftovers and watched TV while reclined. FSB
We enjoyed the under promoted 1983 Tender Mercies movie with Robert Duvall (Best Actor Oscar) doing a great job singing and playing Country. Recommended.

Just had breakfast and now I'm probably going for a walk if it's not raining yet. I'd like to jam on my bass.

Well it's Monday and, out of habit from my past workday routines, this is when I get the things I have to do out of the way (if possible). It's just more difficult to get kick started when retirement isn't pulling in that pay check incentive and I have so many other preferable choices in how to spend the day.

No complaints though as I'm thinking about those less fortunate. I am presently learning of the storms and destruction elsewhere, and we're expecting flurries overnight. Whoo Hoo!
