Just a little while ago, I played the USA GL, at really low volumes. It sounds decent at about any volume. In about 12 hours, I should be at the FedEx shop to pick up the Jazz I have coming in.

Just spent the better part of the morning pairing two wireless wifi speakers to play over 50,000 internet radio stations. The manual was wrong $&@):!?. Of course that never happens. I was right for a change, and Mrs. FSB and I eventually enjoyed the evening sampling many but just a tiny fraction of them. A nice hot glass of blueberry tea was included.

50,000? Of course if that was TV, you'd still find nothing to watch. :P

I'm going to the store before it closes and going for a walk. One thing kind of leads to the other. You buy food, then you have to exercise to burn it off. :P

Actually, that can be the case. I once had control over upload and download feeds from several satellites at my disposal through work. There were plenty of hours when I and my mates found nothing of interest, a lot of data, and a lot of duplication on those birds in space. Things are better today, but, still . . . YMMV. :P

And a lot of things were kept out of the public eye. You wouldn't want to know.

Many things have changed with public and media values. Entertainment has supplemented historical money losing informative news.

Case in point, while broadcasting a live noon hour show we looked to a satellite off air monitor to see a man walk past and behind a non suspecting reporter. The man quickly entered the top edge of Niagara Falls bobbing up and down on camera! This suicide over the falls happened as we watched in horror while the folks at home watched some local story. We did not run the tragedy, nor would we. We might have given a verbal account, but, not to say that some similar video would not ever be shown, we also would consider family viewing times and subject matter. Today it is a different set of rules. We were in a good position as the head offfice for a network to claim being one of the first to air it. Today that would be a certainty. Suffice to say that the loss of this man, and feelings for the crew at Niagara, left us feeling terrible for the rest of the day.

Meanwhile , I'm catching up with the local news and warmer weather on a beautiful sunny day. Looks like a Strat day. :D

Yeah, today is a lot different for that type of thing. You practically can see snuff films on the news, these days. That's sad you had to see that. It seems like that happens a lot there. I think the same for the Claiborne Pell Bridge connecting Newport, Rhode Island, where I live, and is technically an island, from the mainland. It's a very tall bridge that goes across the East Passage of Narragansett Bay, so I can see why that would happen. Besides, it's quite a view out there, so I suppose I could understand why somebody would want to spend their last moments there, not to be morbid or anything like that.Image

Thanks, for the kind words. I understand how those that protect us everyday gather emotions that stay with them as I and others have had some experiences that are similar. But, on the brighter side, if looks to be beautiful where you live, Paul. I didn't know about your bridge, and your info was appreciated. I'm sure others will be happy to learn of it too. It reminded me of one in St.Ignace/Mackinaw, Michigan that I've been on several times in my life. I looked them both up afterwards. Thought you might like to see the comparison.

Clairborne Pell is higher. Mackinac is the third longest suspension in the world and the longest in the Western Hemisphere.

Apparently, drivers are available for those who would rather not do the drive across the Mackinac.
Cheers!

That looks pretty similar to the Pell. You know, the suspension cables at least on the Pell, have rails on each side for workers to walk up on. Imagine having that job. I'm sure they're also tethered, but still. Talk about not being afraid of heights. :P Sometimes, I get nervous going across the thing, I couldn't imagine going all the way to those tops on foot.

I cooked breakfast (I'm on a night schedule right now) with my girlfriend and now just going through the usual social media stuff. I have to tell you there's some potentially big music related things in the works for me, which is about time. Hoping things will pan out with that. 8)

I'm crashed in the sack and catching up with the Forum.

Love your cool GIFs, Glenn. All the best on your music related things, Paul. The world needs more music.

I did my part with (Buddy) my Strat tonight while Mrs. FSB watched another of those dinner grazing red carpet fashion award shows. That's always a good reason for me to have guitar night.

Thanks. 8) I will say this, one of the plans, or goals is to get on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." Not sure if you can watch that in Canada, or not, but it's broadcast all over the US on the NBC network.

You betcha we have that show. It's on the regular channels, Paul. Canada is the most cabled TV nation in the world. Cable originated not far from where I grew up, and with the company I once worked for from an island on the westcoast. Canada is very connected with satellite coverage as well, so I and others here would be happy to see this come to fruition. Keep us posted, and good luck. That would be fantastic! :D
FSB
No cable or satellite to watch here would have hockey fans nation wide taking to the streets.
