Actually, and I'm not kidding, there were blackberries all over where I used to live and none to be found (even in stores) in these parts until a few years ago. You can buy a bakery for what it would cost to make a blackberry pie here. Coincidentally, berry pie is my favourite; but, it is hard to find.

Still, I would be happy to bring the ice cream or whipping cream or both. I know everybody will enjoy your pie.

I like to gourmet cook, but I leave the pies to Mrs. FSB who bakes like her Grandma from farmland, and her Mom who lived with us. She showed my wife how to make berry pies when she came to visit where we lived on the coast, so I'm on the program with you my friend. I showed Mrs. FSB your pie and she said, "Wow!".

Mmmmm, that pie looks good Mud....it's a hot day here so I just whipped up an icy cold Blueberry/Banana smoothie for lunch.

1 good handful Blueberries
1 Banana
4 large Ice Cubes
3 tablespoons Rolled Oats
1 tablespoon Oat Bran
1/2 cup Greek Yoghurt
1 Cup Light Milk
6 Almonds

Threw it all in the Nutribullet Rx and 20 seconds later..........deeeelicious!

Aw, geez youse guys. I just put the pounds on thinkin' about it.

My sister sent me some old pics of myself when I was 17 around Christmas time. The reason I'm mentioning this here is I was posing with the '77 Fender Jazz Bass I had at the time that I've mentioned here and there. I'm going to post them here so you can see the bass. I didn't have it that long, because it still had the bridge pickup cover on it. It had one for the neck pickup, but I had taken it off pretty much right away after I got it. My girlfriend thought I was dumb to get rid of it. Maybe she was right, but that's all water under the bridge now.

I'm going to wash the mud covered salt thrown road trip car today because the weather warmed up a little so freezing doors will be less likely, but not impossible.
