It started snowing last night, so I went out into the tundra to see what's going on. :P I don't think we'll be able to go for a walk tonight, because it's pretty nasty out, but went for a drive, which was cool. You just have to be careful and have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

I'm going to get an apple to munch on while the football game is on.

Having a hot chocolate and listening to 60's garage rock.

Just returned home from a cold jaunt crosstown to spend time with family that celebrates Ukrainian Christmas with a dinner that included turkey, holuptsis, and perogies. It was a great time to meet up with family that we missed being with over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. But, it's nice to hop into a cozy warm bed for a good night's sleep too. :D
Yawn.

Lazy day here. Maybe going to GC and Best Buy. I feel like spending some money on myself for a change. :D

Probably going to venture outside and see how much snow had accumulated. I do believe we got over a foot yesterday. Hopefully, I'll be able to go for a walk, if the sidewalks are cleared. My girlfriend wants to go shopping, too. I could use a new pair of britches in a smaller size. :P

I have 60's Garage Kings, and there are two others, Kicks, and Rockin' '60's.

I was listening to the Count Five and some other stuff that I hadn't heard of before. The 60's were a bit before my time. :P

I loved that time. I always thought that was my destiny to be in that time. It was my time. Image

Yeah, it amazes me how much went down in that entire decade when you think about it.

As we all know, every generation has their own vibe when it comes to music, mostly borrowed from earlier times and revamped with a mark of their own.

A short while back I was dubbing some old recordings from the 60s. Although, I never analyzed them during those days of embracing those hits and almost hits, I took a more concentrated listen, especially to the one hit (often one take) wonders.

There was a lot of simplicity and errors that were never noticed, especially in the early 60s. This happened with both instrumentals and vocals. While some of the tunes were great, nevertheless, others were a stroke of luck, being in the right place at the right time, and association, and the rest is history.

I then sat down and cried (just kiddin') when I realized I might have been a one hit wonder if I had made the same effort. A lot of this fame was happening just down the street, so to speak, from my home. Then some guy named Hendrix showed up across the pond. :x

Well woke up before the rest of the house, can't make noise, so playing is out of the question, so I decided to bake a 4 berry pie using raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, and blueberry, now it is cooling, made the crust from scratch. Can't wait to dig in
