I guess he did that because he couldn't be arsed to climb up a ladder after working most of the day, either that or he had a bunch of other things going on, which was likely the case.

Resting in a lateral position with a spiced rum and Coke by the fireplace in our hotel room in Canmore, BC after some hairy experiences on the Highway To Hell and the Rockies between BC and Alberta. Mrs. FSB and I almost got sandwiched by a large concrete barrier and a multiple horse trailer. Fortunately. my instinct and the Big Guy upstairs saw to it that we would be spared the sad fate of another in a demolished SUV on the side of the road. The rest of the road trip today was difficult, but conquered as well.

Tomorrow, we get the cold prairies and we will see what is in the Winter offering with sunny skies.

Now, I'm ready to crash on my pillow.

Back to work after a week off

Doing laundry and going to go to the casino and do some gambling. It's been quite a few years since we have and my girlfriend is feeling lucky, I guess. Maybe we might hit a jackpot, you never know.

Finished another 8 hours drive this time through (slippery Calgary) Alberta and into Saskatchewan where there is little snow, so the drive was the best so far.

Tomorrow, we tackle Manitoba where the snow keeps coming just to add flavour to the trip.

Me and my Strat ("Buddy") will soon be re-introduced.
