On the jello, Paul. If ya wanna have some fun with it sometime, replace some of the water/juice with some carbonation like Sprite/7Up or Gingerale. I'm thinking the Gingerale would be best with something like lime jello though. Don't over do it with the fizzy stuff. Just a quarter or third ratio of the soda pop will do the trick. We do this quite often, and it is a surprise with a kick to the lips and gums.

Meanwhile, I'm checking out wireless home entertainment speakers (I have one coming from an Airmiles order) and a Black Friday deal for a match would be good. Unfortunately, the free one is quality at a price, so I'm not expecting success; although, one never knows.

Here's hoping weather and labor issues don't put a damper on anyone's Thanksgiving travel plans. Have a good one.

I'm doing laundry and I also found out that my sister and my parents are selling their lawn service business and whatever else and moving to North Carolina. My dad can't do it anymore and my sister said last summer just about killed her. She's going to be 58 and her knee is screwed up. Florida isn't the same as it use to be, anyway. They're just fed up with it. So now, my only tie with that place will be some of the friends I have that still live there. You know, life goes on and sometimes things can change. At least they'll be closer to me and right off of I95. A little over a 10 hour drive.

Thanks FSB! She had her right hip replaced in early July, this time the
left hip. Osteoarthritis and runs in her family. Coming home today!

*and this one's on the insurance company's dime since we hit out-of pocket max for the year on previous hip surgery*

I had a nose bleed last night when I got out of the shower. I have no clue why that happened. I never use to get them until a couple of years ago. I did a 2 1/2 mile walk last night and it was very cold and windy, and I didn't have anything to cover my face, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Going out today to see if my snow shovel that's been in storage works for the season's first snowfall.

I have a feeling that it will, as for me . . . well, we'll have to see.
