I'm cooking dinner and getting ready for not one, but two UConn basketball games this evening.

Doing the Gotham PVR marathon, having finished last season's episodes tonight, and now up to speed with this season.

I know . . . I'm slow, but enjoying hours on end of this show. :D

I'm feeling kind of lazy today, so other than my walk, I have no initial plans to do much of anything right now. I'll at least try to get in some playing time, hopefully.

Checking the sky and the ground for flakey white stuff. It's a couple of weeks overdue; but, we are surrounded by snow, and schools are closed a little over a hundred miles south of us. The birds have pretty much headed south, except for flocks of Canada Geese on their way, and the rabbits and squirrels have hunkered down.
I know it's coming, so the shovels are ready and the woolies are within easy reach. As a guitarist, you become more conscious of frostbite. Time to get out the Canadian hoser toque, eh?!

I have to go to the grocery store and go for a walk. I'm going to have to wait until Christmas to get my new hollowbody bass that I had mentioned elsewhere that I'm getting. That's cool, what's one more month to wait when I've been waiting 28 years to have one. :P

I'd say you're due, 28 years is a bit of time.

Mostly the reason is there weren't really any around when I started in the late 80's, other than the ones from the 60's, if you could find any (don't forget no internet shopping and pointy guitars were the trend because of the hair bands) and those were expensive even back then. Then, not really until the 2000's that they started making them again, like Ibanez, Guild, Gretsch, etc. coming out with models, but of course it was a matter of having enough cash for any of these, which I didn't, or spent it on other things that were more of a necessity like amplifiers.

Watching Ravens at Dallas because the early game (probably my Giants) is blacked out on Fox. Don't know why. Dolphins play the late game.

I just worked out on the elliptical machine and now I'm going out for a drive, then cook dinner when I get back.

I need to bag up a bunch of clothes that are being donated to a charity we give to so they can pick it up before Thanksgiving arrives. We're going to make some jello with Knox gelatin and cranberry juice. I'm very curious to see how it will come out. I've never made this before.
