Sorry to hear about that. My late brother would have told her smooth move, Ex-Lax. I have no idea where he came up with that one. :P

Packing for a Labor Day trip to Connecticut for the family holiday party.

Hurricane Hermine missed me down here so now I'm going up to meet it. The things I do for my family.

Sorry to hear of your late brother, Paul.

Holey Crap! I hadn't heard of that expression for a very long time. Thanks, to your late brother for jogging my memory on that one. It was a very popular saying back in the days. Wish I had remembered it on this occasion.

Best,
FSB

Stay safe Steve. Enjoy the holiday. Here's hoping the only hurricane you meet comes in a glass.

Meanwhile, I'm watching a documentary on CNN about a cult. The show is called Holy Hell. The spiritual group from LA was known as Buddahfield. Nothing out of the ordinary if you came from California or LaLa land in the Pacific Northwest. Still, pretty hairy and pretty scarey. Great oogala boogala. Cue the Om.

May the Force be with you and Peace. 8)

Oh, so it's something that goes way back, then? I just remember him saying that many moons ago. He's been gone since 2000, unfortunately. He was 11 years older than me (he was born in 1960) and use to buy me beer when I was underage. :P It's hard to believe he'd be 56 years old now, if he was still alive, but then again I'm going to be 45 in December.

Brothers are special. I'm sure you were too, Paul.

Have a good one,

Today, I'm enjoying the rain on my grass seed.

I'm going to watch "Fear Of The Walking Dead" tonight and I'm going to try to put some time in on that Schecter Ultra VI. I want to try to get use to playing that thing, since it is a little different than a bass or guitar.

Just checked out the Schecter Ultra VI on a vid. Cool guitar, Paul. Let us know how the learning curve and guitar works for ya.

Cheers!

You'd probably have no problem with it, since you play guitar a lot more than I do or can. It's just the neck is longer like a short scale bass and the strings are as thick as bass strings, with an extra high B and E strings. I guess you could either approach it like either a bass or a guitar or both.

I'm trying to get my arse outa bed; but, I'm spoiled. Mrs. FSB just brought me breakie in bed so I'm having toast and marmalade with a side order of freshly ground coffee, and reading the Forum. Me and the Strat are slated to meet up later. :D

Laundry day. Waiting to see what that tropical storm is going to do later. As long as the power doesn't go out, I'm cool. That's a real pain in the arse when that happens. :P

Unpacking from the New England trip. The weather was great if not a tad cool for the south Floridian (mid-50s at night). Hardly any of the remnants of Hermine were felt at least inland where I was.

Next I'm headed for Spain. Well I never been to Spain, but I kinda like the . . . never mind.
