What annoys the hell out of me, because they no longer make sizes accurately like they use to, it seems like the more weight I've lost (I've been doing this before, but not enough to do anything significant, but I've at least maintained and not gained any back,) the bigger the size I have to go up. Isn't the opposite suppose to happen? There's no regulation with that and it's a crap shoot it finding something that is what it says on the label.

My main gripe is that they don't make size variations any more. I have long arms, and while I could buy both shirt and jackets with different length sleeves in the past, you just can't find that anymore. So for anything with sleeves, I have to buy XXL (or shirt size 18 for those that still use shirt sizes), and have room enough for another person inside them.

Hats too - I have to buy my hats from England to get them the right size, because American hats are now S/M/L/XL and no accurate measurements. Are people really content with hats that blow off?

To say nothing about socks and "one size fits all". They sure don't fit size 13 feet, no. I wish they would bring back sized socks.

The Magic kind, I guess?

You won't find those in the grocery store, I suppose. :P

I know what you mean, totally. I wear a size 13 wide shoe and it's often a pain in the arse to even find shoes in that size. Even if I were rail-thin, I'd still have to. If I'm going to wear a long sleeve shirt, I have to make sure it's a tall, because of my arms, too. I've found some "big and tall" socks which go from size 13 to at least 15 or 16, not sure. The other socks go to size 6 to 12/barely 13 usually.

Having iced coffee and pondering some musical questions such as :

25 or 6 to 4?

Do You Believe in Magic?

How High IS the Moon?

What is Hip?

Where Have All The Flowers Gone?

Who'll Stop the Rain?

Can I get a Witness?

Are You Reeling In The Years?

How Long Has this been Going On?

What's Goin' On?

Why Don't We Do It In The Road?

Hello, Is Anybody Out There?

Do You Want to Know a Secret?

:D

I was just on Facebook and commented on a few posts, thoughtfully disagreeing with anti-American comments. I am getting hammered by Obama/Clinton supporters. I see that now conservatives are not allowed an opinion. I hope that I don't get booted from Facebook.

Welcome to Facebook. :P I don't even get into it, even on that thing, tempting as it may be on occasions. I doubt you would get booted on there for that. You can always block people, as well. That way you don't have to deal with trolls, etc.

Drinking coffee and __________Rum...

I need it after a night of attempting to alleviate my computer of a nasty gremlin. A "Java Adohre virus" (sp). Tried Norton Power Eraser----Nada.
Downloaded MS Safety Scanner, started at 920pm and ran 6 hours and whatever minutes on a full scan. Some 3,887,435 files on my three drive letters, showed two viruses then froze on the final drive letter.....

You see where I'm headed with this right!!

I highly recommend MS Safety Scanner if you use windows whatever w/ explorer or edge and its FREE. It does remove it self from your computer shortly after use. Download every time you think your puter's sick.

So this morning I get up and re-start my endeavor, but with a better approach.
1. I know there's a virus on my system and I got to get it gone.
2. Stay online only long enough to get a fresh download of the Safety Scanner, it seems to get bigger w/ each download.
3. Instead of the "Quick Scan" or "Full Scan" options, do the "Custom Scan"one file or drive letter at a time.
4. Started on the C drive, yeah it's the largest and most likely used stuff. Took about an hour and a half for 120gig drive space. "re-found the virus and eliminated it"
5. Proceed to the next drive letter by decreasing size until your whole system has been checked.
The only minor drawback to this method is that a "quick scan" takes place each time before the program is re-started. This took about 10 minutes each time on my system at 2.4 ghz.

Hope none of you are drinking coffee and rum, unless you like it of course...In which case have a great weekend.

The (free) trial of Hitman Pro would have eliminated it quick!

I hope your dog is on the upswing, Glenn. It's a tough go when a pet is pretty much dependent for us to understand their needs. Having had a dog I know how much they are part of the family.

FSB

Meanwhile, me and Mrs. FSB are embracing a sunny morning and trying a new coffee grind. Hoping to get my hands on the Strat today.

We're also following the American election process on TV. Wishing the best for all of you no matter what your choice.

Seems like a political conundrum on both sides of the border, and the oceans.

It's getting to be where the most selfies, emails, celebrity status, egomania, sad stories and glad stories, exaggerations, verbal diarrhea from every side, entertainment, and most media coverage trumps policies and performance. Nothing new here. I think honest constructive conversation over a beer would be a better approach.

Maybe that offer to go to Mars isn't such a bad idea after all.

Trying out Windows 10, again. I had to disable/eliminate some annoying crap it comes with and I'm on the fence about this one. I have all my stuff backed up, anyhow. I can always wipe the hard drive and start over if it really annoys me, which Microsoft often does. :P
