As some of you know, Mrs. FSB and I have been a little busy with family matters far from home. Well, today is R&R day and we are taking a ferry ride for a day trip to visit friends and extended family on Vancouver Island, BC. First we stop off at our favourite Brew Pub not far from where we once lived, and then on to who knows what good times.

Back to the mainland the next day for a wrap up and on to a return road trip Monday through the Rockies. Phew!

Sounds fun. My girlfriend and I would like to go to Canada someday, but we'd have to get passports, first. She use to have one, but I never did. since I've never left the US, much less left the the east coast, just the states on I 95 from Florida to Rhode Island. The Canadian border is only a roughly 6 hour drive from here, so we wouldn't have to fly, or take a long time to get there driving, like we would to go to Florida. It's also not a bad idea to have passports because of the music situation, since we do have fans internationally. You never know what can happen with that, playing overseas or South America, etc.

Have to go to the store and stock up on things that we're out of or running low on. It's pretty humid tonight. I'm partially not too keen to walk tonight, but I'm sure we will. Usually, it's a little cooler next to the water, anyhow.

I don't blame you. Today is like a wet, wool blanket around here and the fog is as thick as pea soup. It's like 99% humidity. I still went for a walk, though. I go at night, though. It's at least cooler and there's usually some breeze from the water at the park. There's a pier there, too.
