Went for a walk and cooked a frozen pizza for dinner. I haven't had one in a long time.

Thanks very much for the kind words Paul and Rollie. I appreciate that as he is very weak and will soon be in a better place, but he has the best possible for now, and I managed to put a smile on his face and a tear in his eye when I showed up unannounced. It was a good thing, and I hope to see him tomorrow.

On the music side, he had a video of some lady who brought a small harp into his room last week. He tried it out when he could manage it then. I told him that we should cut a record together.
Have a great day,
FSB

I'm going for a night drive to the ocean. The Atlantic looks kind of like an alien surface when the moon is shining on it.

Yeah, there is a navy base here and I've heard that they like to fly around those for some reason. :P That would be cool to get a ride on one of those and fly around the galaxy. Fly by the Hubble Telescope and wave in the window. That should give NASA a chuckle. :P

Hey FSB, sorry to hear that news on your brother. Our family is in a similar spot having just completed all paperwork necessary to get my father in law in a hospice program. So many emotions, relief that it will help him and my mom in law, sadness that it's come to this...... the sad part of life.

Right now I'm avoiding work by browsing the forums!

Woo hoo, 3000th post! Now I'm a rock star! :P :P

I have no clue what I'm going to do today, but I know I'm going to have to put that AC in the bedroom window pretty soon. I figured as much, since it's almost July. Speaking of which, has any else noticed time going by really fast lately?

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's because I'm on a night schedule right now, or not. I'm up all night and go to bed in the morning when probably most people get up. This fall, we're planning on turning it around, though.

Thanks, WI KISSfan. My best wishes to you and your family in this difficult time. My approach is to keep positive vibes and, in my brother's case, I tell white lies if it helps to ease his concerns. Today, because he is limited to what he can handle to eat and drink I introduced him to new Blackberry Gingerale brought from out of province. There's not much I can give him material wise, as he is not capable of making use of these things, and yet he took to that treat like it was gold. Made us both happy to share that moment. :) With hospice and light talk of your father in law's interests now and in the past, you'll find some relief, new and old memories and, perhaps, new discoveries to add to the collection. I know the best will come to your father in law in his time of need.

Take care,
FSB
