Did some grocery shopping and jammed a bit with the Squier Jazz Bass and POS Peavey combo in my office while reading news feeds. You know, multitasking. Actually, the Peavey isn't a POS, but it has a short with the volume knobs and you have to smack it sometimes to get some sound. It could just need the pots cleaned, though.

I did my "favorite" activity of having to bleach out my shower. Luckily, the respirator I bought helps a lot with that so I don't have to be sick all day from bleach fumes. That stuff is pretty harsh.

My initial enthusiasm for assembling my new pedalboard has waned considerably. As I feared, I have a lot of noise which could be from the non-Pedal Power sources (One Spots, old batteries, special wall warts) and I hear something that sounds like a heart beat. I cannot tell where it's coming from.

In brief, I am in troubleshooting mode. I have 14 pedals connected and finding the offender(s) is a lot like finding the bad bulb on the old-fashioned string of Christmas tree lights. Exasperating.

Hang in there Steve, you will get it sorted out.

No wonder it was quiet around town tonight. The Red Sox are playing the Yankees and this is a New England town. That's a serious rivalry, there. Everyone was probably watching the game.
