There's this Jazz Bass and some Fender Bass amp (looks like a 2nd generation Rumble, like mine) that's been taunting me in a display window in some pawn shop downtown. :P I've only gone by it going down the road at night, so I couldn't totally confirm everything about the two, other than the amp looks huge and the Jazz is black with a white pickguard. It's been there for at least a week or so. Of course, I really don't need either (I have two amps and five basses, six if you want to call the Schecter Ultra VI a bass,) but you know how it is when you see things like that in display windows, which you frequently pass by.

Hey, Paul. I do the same thing, but I lift two large bottles from the car to the house. I'm on my way to becoming an old geezer, so it's a little more difficult than it was. I'm thinking I might bring the cooler to the car.

I usually overload myself with heavy groceries, simply because I'm too lazy to make multiple trips. :P I'm kind of use to it from playing bass and gigging for over 27 years. :P

I broke down and bought a Pedaltrain pedal board and a Voodoo Lab power supply to assemble a real pedal board. Now I don't have to break down my set up. I used to just connect them in a semi-circle (Arc of Doom) on the floor. This is much more organized.

Went by that pawnshop again tonight and the Jazz Bass wasn't in the window. The amp was still there, though. I guess someone else couldn't resist the call and went in and bought it. :P

Pound some vitamin C and if your gut can handle it, something with hot chili peppers in it, especially soup. That use to work for me. Zinc lozenges work pretty good, too.

Zicam seems to work. Zinc does work, if you get it going early on.

Go for a milkshake. It'll give you little brain freeze and works great when you're not feeling up to snuff. Works for hangovers too. YMMV.

Hope you're feelin' better, Mr. Nylon.

Watching the pvr'd 2016 RRHOF induction ceremony. Hmm. I was a sailor, so thankfully I'll be able to cuss like a rapper if I ever set foot on the stage as an inductee. On second thoughts, maybe not.
