Getting ready to watch the "The Walking Dead" later when it airs at 1:30 AM (EST) and hope the coming snow storm doesn't block out the satellite signal. If so, I'll just catch it next week or when they usually repeat it.

Watching the last of the snow melt.
Oops! More to come today, only to, perhaps, watch it melt away tomorrow.

FSB
Here's hoping your snow storm was kind, Paul. :D

Pretending that I'm shoveling the imaginary 6 to 10 inches of snow that was suppose to hit here last night. :P Nope, just pretty windy and cold today.

Trying out my new ehx Freeze pedal. It's a one trick pony, but it's a pretty good trick.

Chilling out by reading the Forum.

Can't get a quick flight (Easter and Spring Break) to the West Coast (halfway across the country) so one more day to go before I can catch up with my kid brother of 62 yrs. He suddenly got brain (tumor) surgery this evening, and the result is yet to be told.

That being said, grab a family member or a good friend, give them a hug, and tell them you appreciate them. I will.

Peace,
FSB

I hope the surgery went well and your brother is OK FSB. FWIW I took your advice, hugged my wife and told her exactly that.

Thank you, for the kind words, Steve. Good to know that you gave that extra hug to your wife.

My brother phoned this morning waking from a successful operation; but, this afternoon, unfortunately, he presented me with less than happy news. The growth is not benign. :(
Chemo is the next step . . . so the future remains to be seen. Our family (as others) has seen it's share of tragedy, especially lately; but, we keep as positive as possible. The problem is to ease the pain of not only my brother and his wife, but our mother lives alone at the age of 94, and she has a heart condition.

Flying out tomorrow to spread the love. Pass the love on to yours (like Steve). Everyone and everyday is important . . . don't miss the opportunities.

Peace
FSB

Sorry to hear about your brother. My mom had a brain tumor too, about 14 or 15 years ago, but it was benign. I hope things will turn out well for him and I'll try to send positive vibes your way. I know what you mean by tragedy, unfortunately. I thought I was going to lose my dad at the end of last year when he had his stroke (by the way, he's been doing pretty good from what I've heard the last time I talked to my sister) and I've also lost two brothers and one sister (I have two sisters left, and I'm the youngest kid out of six) over the years. :(
