I had Windows 10 for a couple of days then got rid of it. For me, I thought it was too invasive and I didn't like the fact I had to go into a special program to get rid of a lot of stuff I didn't want that they decided to install like XBox. I call the whole procedure Microannoy. :P Having to mess with computer stuff, especially Microsoft related, is always a good way to aggravate me. :x

Had another impromptu rehearsal tonight after I finally changed my strings on my Schecter. I know I said I was going to do it a week ago, but life happens. :P I also got a chance to try out my new Boss Bass EQ pedal and it does the job I needed it for. 8)

I was trying to fix the A string on my Peavey Zodiac bass that has some buzz going on with it, but unfortunately no matter what I tried it didn't work and it also picks up the buzz through an amp (I used my Rumble 350 combo to test it.) I guess the only thing I can do with it now is to have some professional look at it and see what they can do. I don't think that's going to happen anytime too soon because of the lack of funds to do so. I did put a Bad $@! II bridge on it a long time ago, but I'm going to take it off of there and put it on my Squier Jazz Bass, since I think that will improve that one, since that's became my more or less secondary bass. I'll see if the Squier will fit on the Peavey, since it looks about the same size, if not I do still have the original Peavey bridge I can put back on there. I'll see how that works out.

cool looking bass, Paul. the original bridge looks sturdy. keep us in the loop.

Watching Game 4 of the World Series with KC Royals and NY Mets. Great baseball. In the 6th it's 3 NY 2 KC. But, ya never know. Mets just changed pitchers and he immediately had a stolen base to third. Wham Bamm 3 strike outs!
Also, pulling for Paul to get rid of that pesky string buzz. :D

I swapped out the bridges today. Bad news is the Peavey still has that buzz on the A string, although it's not as noticeable. I'll have to plug it into the amp to see if it's still picking up through that. I'll have to have someone look at it professionally. Good news is that the Bad $@! II sounds pretty good on the Squier Jazz Bass. I've only played it acoustically, but I can tell the tone is beefed up a bit. It did make a difference, there. I haven't plugged it in yet, but I'm looking forward to that later. 8)

Oddly enough, I've never actually plugged that Squier through either of my main amps (the Orange Terror Bass 1000 or even the Fender Rumble 350 combo) since I've owned it, just through a Peavey Basic 60 I keep in my office and through my 4 track when that thing was working. I got the Schecter not long after the Squier and haven't played much on it until I've done some work on it. Now it's in good playing shape, no sharp fret ends and good action.
