Trying to get used to Windows 10. I had heard the Windows Media Player was gone in W10, but mine is still here, alive and well.

Finished a Sloppy Joe dinner earlier, and now watching the end of the movie "The Green Mile". A great casting of Dabbs Greer, as old Paul, and Tom Hanks, as young Paul.

Trying two different sampler packs of beer from two different breweries, Harpoon and Heavy Seas. It's the first time I bought any craft brews since the summer started. I was sticking with various mainstream brands and Mexican beers for awhile.

Trying to figure out my brand spankin' new Alesis MIDI controller. I'm coming kinda late to the MIDI game, but I think virtual instruments can be cool so I want to learn.

After an extra-long day at the office I'm going to settle in and watch 3 or 4 hours of mystery shows on PBS. Pure escapism.

Looking forward to fall, which unfortunately is too short a season.
