I got a late start today, it's 10:30am and warmer (33 degrees) in Chicago on my birthday. Yep today is the day. My younger sister is taking me to lunch in a couple of hours. We're going to my favorite little cafe just up the street. Thinking about 6 years ago when I first saw the fender lounge forum while shopping for a bass guitar on this website lol, and about cvilleira nikininja Rhumba Ceri Chet yoda beaubs and everyone really, that I would see here daily for those first few years. Happy to see y'all, that is why I'm posting this :D
So, I'm going to do my workout and practice some songs until Sis picks me up. Everyone have a great day, I'll see you later. :D 8)

Happy birthday buddy!

Getting some grub. Earlier I was working on my song. Added a solo and was playing with track panning, I think it's gonna turn up nice!

I am drinking a Vedett (Dutch white beer) after a tough day at my daytime job, browsing this forum, along with my second favorite guitar forum, thefenderforum.com, and planning on buying my next workhorse strat: a Mexican Standard sunburst... Probably grabbing it next week.

I just completed updating my Squier p-bass. All of the black hardware is now chrome or nickel. Bridge, tuning keys, string retainer, strap buttons (w/white felt washers), volume/tone knobs, pick guard screws and a white DiMarzio split-p rails pick-up to replace the black Dimarzio split-p rails pick up I had installed in 2012. I don't have a photo update yet but here is what it looked like up until this morning:

That's pretty cool. It reminds me of Evel Knievel for some reason.

I'm dreading the upcoming snowstorms here in New England. Winter has been a relentless pain in the arse this year.

Reading some posts, posting some, staying inside because it is too cold outside, a psychic struggle happening in my brain about copyright when I thought until now it wouldn't be an issue but good friends advised me today it should be taken care of. At the same time some musicians messaged me for lyrics for songs they have written. All this when I posted a poem on my facebook page that I thought only my friends would see. Things were much more calm yesterday lol, but I will write lyrics. I do enjoy writing.

Trying to figure out Windows 8.1. I waited too long and all the PCs with Windows 7 were gone.

Great day in the low 70s, but I didn't get out much.

Hadn't played the 12 string Strat in months so got it out of the case and dusted it off. Checked the tuning and all 12 still good to go. Forgot how great power chords sound on it! Then bass for awhile before some 6 string fun. So guess my day started on 12, went to 4 and finished with 6.
Aren't Saturdays great? :D

Walking Dead Sunday night, 3 episodes left in this season. A guilty pleasure, very few of those left (pun?). Next month The Game Of Thrones starts another season. 1 more of those few guilty pleasures.
