Just finished reading "The Catcher in the Rye". I was supposed to have read it over 50yrs ago when in high school but never made it past the first couple of chapters. Now at 68 I couldn't put the book down. If I would have listened more to my teachers early on, life could have been more enjoyable and saved me from learning the hard way at times. Never stop educating yourself, it's a secret to happiness.

Currently I am getting my heart crushed by a beautiful woman who I am very much in love with, but aparrently does not feel a thing for me. Of course its not her fault. My silly heart has run amok. At 55 its no easier than 15.

I tell myself to straighten up, "she is no good for you, the wrong type for me, not that she is a bad girl just too different. there are plenty of black headed ladies running around free." But somehow my heart still wants her.

I'm starting my spring cleaning early this year. I have a tendency to be a bit of a hoarder thinking I'll use that thingamajig some day. Now my house is so full of stuff it's time to make the hard decisions and start tossing stuff out.
