CHecking out how well the Migration Assistant worked on the new Mac.

Like a charm. It's already installed and running.

Man, these new keyboards are sweet!

5 minutes from leaving work and now the only decisions I need to make:

- beer or wine
- strat or tele
- blues or jazz

home decision making is MUCH more fun than management decision making!

Yes, if by "keep the rain off" you mean "increase productivity so I can make piles of money to pay for things like shelter."

Just came back in with the dogs from their last walk. I'm going to scan the forums, and then play with my new used 1998 Ovation 1861 Standard Balladeer Natural that I just cleaned, polished, re-strung and tuned.

It now looks great and sounds very nice. The strings that were on it were very, very dead and the Rosewood fretboard was very dry - it needed some lemon oil. With a new set of Elixir Strings, it sounds very nice as an acoustic - nice sustain, nice bass - no amp needed. I also tried it thru my Super Champ XD using voice 16 - very good sound indeed.

I think I'll play just as an acoustic tonight.

Lots of strange News now days  The Goverment going in to the business of owning Banks and part owner of the two of the Big three, Iread they Chysler/Fiat will have 6 of the 10 board member appointed by the Administration and is planing on doing likewise with GM. It just seems wrong when the Goverment goes into bussiness kind of like the State run days of the U.S.S.R.well it worked for them
Well the news is just depressing.

Far left economy mate. You'll be just like 1970's england in no time. Powerouts, everyone striking, mass unemployment that makes the current situation look like a bank holiday. No fuel, 3 day working weeks, overall tax at around 70% (including stealth taxes).

Best thing england ever did is privatize the services. Unfortunately the tax rate never dropped.

I sure hope not Niki unemployment is going up faster then I have ever seen. Maryland unemployment rate was 5.8 in feb this year and is now like 7.5 and we are better then most States. It just seems to be going the wrong way. A Socialist Goverment run State is not the answer.

cv , bro , i was going write what i was doing but then read the last few posts so i'll stay on subject , i guess i'm as concerned as the next person , but , have faith in the good old american can do spirit , although lately it has sounded like there are more anti-ameircan politicians in office than pro-american at worst it can only last for eight years , most of the silent majority will keep working smart , saving their money and raising good upstanding americans.

I'm just reading a few posts while giving the old fingertips a bit of a break from jamm'in.

A great man once said... or should have said... or will say.... "Lets Make music, not politics"

Okay... someone really said "All you need is Love" ..... That would be the Beatles for all you young'uns out there.

Rock on everybody!
