No, my family lives in southern New England and they told me they've had more than enough rain. I'm down south in what they refer to as the Gold Coast of "The Sunshine State". Hah! I've forgotten what the sun looks like.

Ah, wow. :P
That really sucks. I'm sorry. :(

And don't you just hate those days(or weeks!!)? We honestly didn't have sun here on Long Beach Island for at least a week!! Absolutely horrible and depressing.

Let see I had 6 Smithwicks's and 2 Bass so far and a Bass at the desk. Listening to Jim Croce Photographs and Memories kind of blue feeling. :? Good night playing before hand though!!!! Just a thinking

Woke up this morning with a song idea in my head. I'm trying to finish the lyrics and come up with a better melody.

Already have the brisket in the smoker.
Ribs will follow in a few hours.
The grandkids like "boiled" hot dogs?
The whole family is in town and it looks like it will be a superb holiday.
We should get to eat before the skies open with rain, so we'll all probably find a comfy spot and take a nap, then eat some more tonight.

I'm recording a vocal -- my voice for the 1st time in years -- to see if any of today's electronic wizardry will make it sound good . . . or passable . . . or not horrible.
