Doing the bills and staying inside today. The weekend here is expected to be a total washout.

Taking a break from scraping the house, getting it ready to paint ASAP. I'm in the sun on the east side and for this time of year - it's HOT out there. I'm working up a pretty good sweat... and I'm pretty high up, too.

My wife just went to work so i'm taking a break on the PC. I think after while I might take a drive about twenty miles up river and see who's winning, the fishermen or the Bears. The Bears and the Eagles are eating there fill of migrating Salmon. and some brave sportsmen are trying to take there bit of the action to.

Shortly, I'll be braving the rain to find breakfast and the Sunday newspaper.

Thanks Riley :) I just woke up after 9 hours sleep, it was pretty tiring, but really good fun. I did the 102kms in 3 hrs 2 minutes, which is a good time for me. Some of those guys were really hammering though - very impressive, but made me feel sloooow.

I've never tried the Port Douglas race, but I've done Brisbane to Noosa which is 165kms. Today is just the usual 20kms each way to work though.

Hope you're doin' good too Riley!

working on changing over from my old Medical Insurance to Medicare and a Supplement. What a deal this turnes out to be. About the same cost, but difficult to deal with so far. I'm encountering a lot of NOT very well informed folks, that just make things more difficult than they ought to be. Something we all have to look forward to as we get a little older. I think Canada has the right idea. :)

Listening to tunes and paying bills online. Seems I'm always paying bills.

Then I'll spend some of my evening working the day job on the laptop they gave me. 2nd shift, I guess.
