Well I am a bit late on my reply but I just got my sorry butt out of bead and my some and I are heading to northern MN with the Church Youth Group - taking the musical on the road as it were. Look forward to a fun weekend with the troupe.......and maybe a little open blues jam with the band!

Waiting for my lunch (Gortons' Classic Grilled Salmon Fillets) to finish cooking, a little 'net surfing, and then back to clock-watching. Um, I mean work.

Having coffee, heling my daughter get used to her used 2001 Squier Affinity Strat in Baltic Blue that I got for her. She has been learning to pay Bass, but has wanted a Strat :P

I cleaned it and restrung it late last night. I still got to finish the setup later today.

Unpacking my new 8-core Mac Pro, which will become the smokin'-hot new studio machine, while my old dual G5 gets moved into the business office to take over accounting and graphics duties.

A heckuva deal... it's a refurb dual quad 2.85... $2,399, shipped free from the Mac store. No, it's not the new "Nehalem" Intel Xeon chip, but it was 100 bucks less than a current SINGLE quad, and I don't think the performance enhancement is enough to make up for an entire quad-core Xeon processor! Besides, it comes with the same warranty and al the same software... I always buy refurbs and never had a problem.

Can't wait to get it rockin', but I have to finish this demo first....

In the last hour I finished reading a book that I started 2 nights ago called Fair Play about spying and the issues involved when doing so. Now waiting for dinner.

I'm trying to find a bigger tank online for my little brother's blue tongued skink. He keeps escaping. The skink, not my little brother.

Watching Mad Men in blu-ray..for some reason, the blu-ray version was cheaper than the sandard version on Amazon...well written, well acted, intelligent show.
