Thats what I am using now (IE7) but I see they sent out the latest IE8 the other day and supposed to have fixed all the quirks from the end of the years prerelease. I will wait and see what al issues arise from it. I am running XP Pro SP3 on one desktop and two Laptops and Vista SP2 two a 2nd desktop. I no Sp3 itself caused issues with Adobe Photoshop CS2

I got IE8 a few months ago, my PC has Vista home premium. I've found it slowed my PC down quite a bit, I'm hoping it improves soon. Otherwise I'm taking it back off, time will tell.

Hmm, interesting. I've found IE7 quite glitchy on both Vista and XP.

I was meaning to upgrade to IE8 - but after hearing that I'm not so sure.

My wife uses Firefox on all computers: maybe it's time I followed her lead...

Cheers - C

I was an IE defender for years, but now that I've spent some time with the Fox and it's selection of extensions, I can't imagine going back.

Instead of upgrading to IE 8, I switched to Google Chrome which everyone is raving about. But I had issues with Chrome, so I went back to IE and upgraded to 8. I am on IE 8 now and have not had any problems so far (it's been a while, too).

It made VISTA slower? I did't know that was possible. That must be the world's slowest OS, is your computer running backwards now?

The IT people where I work won't let anyone install IE8 at this point. They say there were too many issues when they ran it on a couple of test machines.

At home, non-issue since I mostly use a Mac but based on IT's opinion, I also haven't upgraded my Windows laptop.

You can ALWAYS bet that any new Microsoft product is going so suck, be full of bugs and a PITA to use or get used to.

I used IE only for developing because most people have that. For myself, I just use Firefox.

Maybe it's just me, it usually is :? , but I like having several browsers because some do different things...well,.. differently.
