Writing music takes practice, just like playing it does. To answer the question, yes I write my own tunes, but play alot of covers, too. I remember having a band open once that only did originals and the audience started yelling "play something we know". It was a little humiliating for them but they stuck to their guns and did an all originals show............where are they today? I don't know. I never heard anything from them again :shock:
