Whats up with the bridge pickup? I have never seen this before. Anyone know anything about it?

Maybe a Versoul pickup? They use a perforated "electric razor" cover, although I wouldn't expect to see one on a Squire...I think it would cost more than the entire guitar...http://www.versoul.com/instruments.php

The perfs look larger on your pickup than the Versouls, so it could just be some homemade cover trying to mimic the vibe...
