When you think of the strat you think of Rock N Roll. Buddy Holly,Jimi Hendrix, Erick Clapton just to name a few. Give me a Strat and a Marshall Amp and i can rull the World.

The strat is probably the most comfortable guitar to play. When LEO did it he hit it on the head. 60 years later still the most ripped off desighn of any guitar and that tone one note you know its a strat although I love the tone of a LESPAUL I think there even but 2 different animals. I never owned a PAUL they weigh to much and are,(you Fender guys know what I mean )a lil to easy to play.

it's one of those designs that will stand the test of time. 50 or 100 years from now, even non guitar players will still recognize the shape, even if they don't know the name stratocaster.

Yes. And it's sheer versatility as displayed by so many guitarists over the years, as made it that icon. The choice for many musical genres and of course, many guitar legends. 8)

Its a freaking guitar not a Woman! Some of these post like Why do you love your Strat, Don't you think strats are the greatest thing in the world? Touchy feely
Face it, Strat's are good guitars but there are other as well. Keep an open mind all the time.
