Finally got to see AC/DC for the first time. Fantastic show

Also earlier that day I met 2 lovely people from Fender in my local guitar shop. Demo was going on. But I got to ask them alot of questions, info etc Very helpful and insightful. Thanks

All in all an excellent day!
:D :D :D

On Saturday I tried to get AC/DC tickets for Aug 24 in Regina Sk, but stupid Ticketmaster put at least 2 AC/DC shows on sale at the same time (Edmonton AB, Aug 27 I think). I figure at least 100000-150000 people tried to log onto the Ticketmaster site at the same time causing a server overload and I waited for 1/2 an hour before the site told me nothing was available. I immediatley went to KIJIJI and they had scalpers selling tickets for $500-$1000! They were only $69-$99 to begin with!
I am so PO'd and dissapointed. I've been waiting for 20 years to see them!

I did get tickets for AC/DC in Regina, but I totally feel your pain brother. Ticketbastard is really a poorly designed method of getting tickets. I think that they should only begin to sell them online after everyone that was in line at the actual ticket office has been served. And even then, the scalping is ridiculous.

Yeah, Ticketmater sucks. But AC/DC is still the world's greatest Rock N' Roll band.

AC/DC , saw them in summer of '77 at the old comiskey park in chicago , on after frank mareno and mahogeny rush , before foreigner and aerosmith , good show . saw them again at the rosemont horizon (now the allstste arena) in '88 headliners this time and technically better than that first show , rock and roll music at its finest.

Hi

Yep, Ticketmaster sucks! I tried 6 times right at 10:00 am and all I could get was nose bleed section, I then tried 1 last time and got lucky 4 floor seats! I'm stoked :o

I sorry to hear you didn't get any :(

Regards.

You must be living around Drogheda and go to the Soundshop.
