What is it? The marshall super lead plexi 100 watt jimi hedrix model?

If so you can pick up a plexi a lot cheaper.

You'll get a better bargain by finding a used 59plexi.

The benefit of such an amp is questionable. I used one for stage and never took it past 3.5. Its just far too powerfull even though i was playing big venues at the time. Infact the word painfull comes to mind when remembering trying to get the powervalves to drive. The midrange punch of those plexi's makes them seem 10 times louder than a jcm800/900 or any of the jcm2000 models.

Youve got no chance of recording one at full tilt and i doubt you'll ever get the benefit of a plexi at full volume onstage. Most soundpeople run at the sight of em these days. Your going to need pedals to get any kind of drive from it without damaging your hearing pemanently or a power break. Even then the drive is nothing like jimi's.

Dont get me wrong, if you have the money, no neighbours and a scant regard for your ears their one hell of an amp. You'll never hear tone like it and see why marshall have their world leader reputation. Their just not practical for todays world with modern PA systems.

look into the 1987x Plexi instead of those huge 100watters....
