It was a new 2008 Blizzard Perl Am. Std. Precision bass with a maple fretboard. I saw it on the stand at GC and picked it up and played and it called my name and told me to pluck it's strings. And it was only $799!!! OMG!!!! I wanted to walk out with it so bad but I am $350 short... And I thought about it and if I got it now or soon it would hurt my grandma's feelings. She got me the Musicman sterling fretless for christmas, and so she dosn't know the differnce between fretted and fretless and so she wouldn't see it as a replacement of my crappy fretted but a replacement of the bass she got me. So unforch. I have to wait bout 6 mouths if I wanna look for a soul-mate, but by then I'll prob. get the 400+ watt amp. If it wouldn't hurt her feelings, I would work my $@! off for the next few weeks and bring it home.

I still wish I had a Nashville Telecaster. With that strat pickup in the middle, at least tonally, it seems like it would be MY musical soulmate... Oh man, I want one so badly!
