I don;'t know about anyone else, but I enter a ton of contests, play the slots in Atlantic city, play the lottery and I always know, I am not going to win, but thats the fun of it all, the anticipation of the moment when you finally know you didn't win. Until that point, you always have a feeling that there is a chance....Its like the start of the baseball season, on day one everyone has a chance to win.

Well I have thought deeply about this whole contest thing and if voting for yourself is approved..........then I am voting for myself. I mean, what have I got to lose?

By the way, when does the contest start and what is the prize?

I'm under the impression no one ever really "wins" a contest. It's just for fun.

Hi mustangtoo: not to get too serious about it, but I can point out that in the very first competition on this Forum (in which we had only to post to enter) I had the unlooked for pleasure of winning third prize: $300 to spend at Fender's online store.

And I'm in the UK too: apparently the first person outside the US to win in a contest. I can post a picture to verify my win if you are still doubtful: winners here have always done so. I think we can be certain the contests are real!

Far as Forum rewards are concerned: I'm still trying to "earn" that early unexpected win...!

Cheers - C

Hey Ceri, I believe you but you can still post the pics if you want. Hope you got something nice, congrats! I still think this forum should stick to the talent competitions instead of giveaways. There is some awesome talent on this forum as illustrated on the Myspace post that Brad had going a while back.
