Oh, I get it. Man, that's a bummer. You can still order CDs online, right?

Yeah... but it's cheaper for me to order from amazon.co.uk than amazon.com.

But I have also heard that I can buy iTunes gift gards in the states and use them in Iceland.

I have 400+ SRV CD/DVD's. I have one that is my travel CD and it stays in the car all the time. It is "Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues: Stevie Ray Vaughan". Fabulous CD.
If you look into the Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues you will find a few other artists you may be interested in. They made a Jimi Hendrix one that has a song I have yet to see anywhere else.

How is that possible? :o Did you burn a bunch of copies? Why do you need that many?

I have CD's from lots of shows throughout his career, plus recording sessions, demos, and such.

I have a recording of the last show he did on CD. I have had it for a couple of years now and just can't bring myself to listen to it.

You have it and you haven't listened to it?! :o Dude! You have to! And then you have to tell me about it. :D

Seriously though, that would be pretty tough to listen to. Sometimes any of his CDs are hard to listen to.

Out of curiosity, how do you get those kinds of things? You don't have to tell me if it's illegal or something.

The Sky Is Crying was released posthumously--and features songs recorded over a span of time--it is an incredible album--especially the instrumentals "Chitlins con Carne", "Wham" and the highlight-"Little Wing"

Of the vocals--"Life by the Drop" is the highlight.

It's the strongest album of his--and in a sense a "Best Of" unreleased songs--that makes me wonder why they were unreleased.

FYI - I was just looking at the article on SRV on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevie_Ray_Vaughn, and it says it could use some cleanup and editing. Thought maybe some of the superfans here could help out?

Thanks everybody.

I found about 4 or 5 discs at the local library and decided to check out a Best of album which was releashed in Germany 1993 by Sony, and re-release of Texas Flood.

Hey There FenderHeads-

Texas Flood is ...IMHO one of the best debut releases ever. Its really like its own "Greatest Hits" Album. Definately you want to get it.

Go forth !

The Freeze
