Among my friends Union Station is certainly not "cool" but I've played them so much that my friends tolerate it. Jerry Douglas is such an amazing Dobro player!

As for me, I'm very, very ashamed of liking Savage Garden. Not guitar music, at all, but very catchy. Reminds me of being a kid....I can't believe I just wrote that.

Mr. Bill... most of that Hannah Miley Montana-Cyrus stuff is a clear cut above the usual dance pop you get from girl singers... it's rockin', four on the floor, and it's built on tried-and-true song structures.

yoda, "Groove Is In The Heart" is just about perfect. For retro perfection, grab Heatwave's "The Groove Line" and put it on infinite loop for an hour or so.

Sade and her band are unbelievable, so good live it's uncanny, and create what is without a doubt the greatest make-out music of all time. Try "No Ordinary Love." Awwww, yeah, baby. While you're at it, see if your "awesome" drummer friend can play it, and keep it up for seven minutes.

And seriously, if your musician friends don't like Union Station, then you don't know any musicians. I know I'm repeating myself, but what could possibly be wrong with you that you wouldn't recognize the superhuman talent these people possess? If you can't dig AKUS, you should take up model trains or something and leave the musical instruments to people with ears.

Oh, and Karen Carpenter was the greatest.

Now now theres nothing wrong with a bit of Rolf. I'm not ashamed to admit i prefere his version of stairway to heaven over zepplin's. Atleast it doesnt drag on and has a good rhythm.

As far as Sade goes i've heard little aside from smooth operator but enjoyed it. Groove amada'a 'groove is in the heart' is a lesson in disco melody. The one song i am ashamed to admit i like is Lawnmower deth's
Watch out grandma here comes a lawnmower.

I know its crap, its just a part of my youth i cant be rid of.

Is this the same band that did "Boogie Nights"? They sound familiar. I had Boogie Nights on an old K-Tel cassette and my sisters and I would listen to it all the time. This reminds me so much of that memory.

When I'm "three sheets to the wind" drunk, I'll still scream and run from the room, at that one. When I'm "five sheets to the wind" drunk, however, I'll even dance along with the other folks (the best I can, for being that drunk). Now, the Chicken Dance I'll do completely sober. And, rather than being ashamed I'll willingly admit it, I dig "Sunshine Day" by The Brady Bunch.

More than a Woman-Bee Gees, enough said.

Wonderful World-Louis Armstrong. He can't sing and it's just a bunch of cliches for lyrics but I love it.
