Well I've tried several times now with three different cards and the order will not go through. I get the message that "Fraudulent Activity Detected"

All of the cards are valid and working (Verified), does anyone have an idea whats up.

I called Fender and they were clueless as to what the problem was so I ask if I could place the order online and they can't do that.

That's odd. Have you used the card a lot today?

I'd call your bank pronto. It could be a technical glitch but there have been cases of retail and restaurant personnel swiping card numbers and either using or selling them. It's also possible that someone else picked up your numbers and (as one poster suggested) ran a number of transactions.

Some run a whole bunch of small transactions on your card to test activity limits. Other times, they will run through (and then cancel) transactions to get an estimate of your remaining balance. Either way, your card provider's system may have detected excess activity.

Tell me about it. I've called the bank, no problem with the cards. I verified this last night by using one of the cards at dinner, again no problem.

I've called Fender C/S yesterday and they are supposed to be working on it but I haven't heard back from them.

Bowdiddley: drop me a line at webmaster@fender.com and let's take this offline -- I built our online store 'engine' myself so I can get you a more direct answer regarding what's going wrong. We do block cards for which we've been asked to issue refunds in the past -- however, there are a number of other metrics involved as well. It's not an exact science and occasionally there are false 'positives'.
