I know I will probably get tarred and feathered for saying this on the Lounge Forums but.... my favorite genre is Drum and Bass ...

There has to be a bad apple in every bunch!

Actually there is a need for drummers and Bass players so that is cool.
My Grandson has a drum set.

Boys...know you love your Strats (I have one too). But isn't it the BASS Guitar that gives a song soul??? ;-) 'Course my favorite genre is Funk and Motown R&B because it speaks to the Booty baby! Many kudos to Fender for the Precision and Jazz basses of the 60's and 70's....

oo thats a tough one. I'm personally not a big fan of older rock (not that I don't think its great music and it really helped music become what it is) but i love lots of hard rock/metal/alternative. Heres some of my favorite current bands: Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, Avenged Sevenfold, Pantera, Deftones, Lostprophets, Tool. Stuff like that.

I like all music played with skill and conviction that includes strong melody and interesting harmonies.

That includes Drum'n'Bass, bluegrass, smooth jazz, klezmer, country, disco house... well, anything, really.
