If you had the choice between meeting your favorite guitarist or owning one of their played guitars...which would you choose? 8)

That's what I was thinking. The meeting would be fleeting but their guitar would be special forever. I thought this was an interesting question to post :D

This one is weird for me - Stevie and Jimi are both gone, so having one of their guitars would be amazing - My other favorite guitar player, Billy Gibbons, id love to hang out and jam with him - I have enough guitars, so I think the memory of jamming and hanging out would be much cooler!!

like many of the bros here alot of my favs are deceased there are still some i'd like to meet and jamming would be a fantasy for sure as for the guitar i have one of my own that i take good care of no disrespect but i could care less who owned it before me , when i have it , it's mine and thats as good if not better than it being in the hands of someone else.

Meet the player. a guitar is a guitar is a guitar. But a chance to meet, and play with a hero, you'll care more about that than a piece of limber, which you will never make sound like them.

Obviously cash wise, the guitar is a better choice, but as far as coolness factor, a picture with Billy Gibbons, or Jimmy Page means you did something cool, not just had enough money to buy it.

I'd want to meet them and learn from them. I'd hate to get their guitar and find it plays like....

... That's a hard question...

Super hard. Um... guitar, 'cause (unless they're dead) I could try to meet them later.
