Here it is, an ode to my Fender named Leo:

Today was the day
After months of delay,
That my brand new Fender would be coming to stay.
Pulled up to the lot,
Went in the back door,
It squeaked as I entered the store I adore.

I plunked down my cash with hardly a wince.
Some people would have, but not me since
This was my dream for many long years
To have such sweet blues tone now gracing my ears.

In my hands it now lay,
I was under it's spell,
As my fingers scaled the neck I know so well.

As I struck a simple chord,
I felt as my soul soared,
The reason why Stratocasters are adored.

So to my best friend,
You'll be mine to the end.
Leo, the one no other can transcend.

Thanks everyone! I had to do a poetry project for school, so I thought, what better thing to write about than Fender? :)

Crafty. :D

Reminds me of that Rancid song "Stranded" about his "1962 Fender Acoustic Guitar."
