I'm want to build a pedal board for my son and I'm looking for a power supply with isolated outputs (at least 5-8). I read about the Dunlop Brick, Voodo Labs (a bit overpriced?), Fuel Tanks, and BBE Suppa-Charger. Any real world experiences from people here, opinions, pros/cons? Any help is appreciated.

While I'm talking about pedal boards, does anyone have any sources for sheets of velcro and plans for the board itself. Any photos of your own DYIs are helpful.
Thanks to all in advance.
Serge

I'm using a 1Spot www.VisualSound.net and it seems to work. I've had up to five pedals on it, for no good reason, and it seems to work. I did get a lot of noise but I think it was my wah or the compresser.

Anyway, there are a lot of sites on building pedal boards. I saw one guy using bicycle chain links to bolt onto the wood. Each link has two holes so it would be one for the effects and the other to bolt to the pedal board. Some people use double face tape or duct tape. Whatever works. Velcro is expensive. I'm thinking of using wire ties because I noticed Best Buy uses prebent metal hooks.

Checkout the guitar forums on harmony-central.com, there's lots of discussion on DIY boards.

I'm using the dunlop dc-brick.

Bit expensive but it works well, there are many cheaper options for power supplies.
