Except everything. Money is worth the paper it's printed on... it may be nice paper, but I'd rather have a guitar.

If a person is in a position where there is no risk in spending $4000, I say go for it.

Mmmm... I like the gold top traditional a lot.

And the SG.

Think about it, one guitar with looks and tone, or two that you can change to fit your tonal and visual needs?

Go with the two, I say.

Or, go with a robot (SG or LP, heck, it's your choice) and get a Fender!

Wow ok give me 500,000 bits of paper that you think isnt worth much and i'll give you some very nice guitars.

I personaly dont think theres a electric guitar on the planet worth $4k. I'd have bought it by now if i did.

Too funny (and too true). Also - here is another piece of advice - buy the Porsche BEFORE you get married. Got it??

Tell me about it...I have to justify spending a few bucks on gear...and we have no issues affording it!

Better yet, never marry, unless she has the same hobbies as you then you can spend away.

Buy an epi and spend the rest on a real guitar.

If I had $4,000 to spend on a Gibson, I'd look for a NOS or a used LP Standard with P-90's or an LP DC with P-90's.

And buy a Fender or two with what's left over......
